ROBERT X. GOLPHIN: BREAKING NEWS

Robert X. Golphin was featured in the June 30th Leader Newspaper of Pennsylvania. The article highlighted the success of his multiple award winning short film "Inside of Me" and its most recent screening at last week's Philadelphia International Film Festival. The film took home Best "Short Subject" (Honorable Mention).

Last year, his film "Beautiful Man In The Buff" took home the same honor.

It has just been announced that Robert X. Golphin's "Inside of Me" has yet another award on its hands. It is the recipient of Best "Short Subject Film" (Honorable Mention) at the 2010 Philadelphia International Film Festival & Market. 

Robert X. Golphin's award-winning motion picture short, "Inside of Me" will screen in competition at this year's Philafilm: The Philadelphia International Film Festival & Market on Saturday, June 26th, 2010, at 12:00 noon at the MOORE COLLEGE OF ART & DESIGN, 20th & Ben Franklin Parkway.

Director (Robert X. Golphin) and executive producer (Lori M. Childress) scored big at last year's fest with their film, "Beautiful Man In The Buff", which was awarded 'BEST SHORT (Honorable Mention)'. 

Robert X. Golphin's multiple award-winning film, "Inside of Me", is now showing on its imdb page. The film from Blue Angel Entertainment, LLC stars award winning actress Lauren Jane Krystofolski, and Tony Kates. It is produced by award-winner Lori M. Childress.

Robert X. Golphin was discussed on the AfterThoughts News Hour w/ S. Denice Newton last night on BlogTalk Radio, as part of a discussion focusing on last month's BEFY Education & Networking Symposium, where Golphin delivered a keynote address.

At last week's B.E.F.Y. Education and Networking Symposium in Wilson, North Carolina, Robert X. Golphin presented the 'Robert X. Golphin Young Man of Purpose Award' to a youth scholar.

The recipient, Rontrel M. Peoples, is a high school sophomore, Honor student, band member and basketball & football player, who intends to become a pediatrician. 

Golphin encouraged Peoples to continue his academic plights, and recognized him for his academic achievements. 

Robert X. Golphin is featured in today's edition of the Wilson Times about his upcoming Keynote Address tomorrow at the B.E.F.Y. Education and Networking Symposium in Wilson, North Carolina. 

The article, which features a photograph of his arrival in Wilson, also mentions his body of work including the most recent accolade for his acclaimed short film, "Inside of Me", from Blue Angel Entertainment, LLC. 

The producers of Robert X. Golphin's "Inside of Me" have just learned from official representatives of the Staff and Board of Directors and the Grand Awards Jury of the 43rd Annual WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival, that "Inside of Me" is the recipient of the Bronze Remi Award in the Film & Video Productions - Women's Issues division.

The award assumes a very special significance this year, as more than 4,400 category entries were competing from 33 countries. There were over 50 entries in the film's specific category of competition. 

"Inside of Me" is recognized for "outstanding creative excellence". WorldFest is the 3rd oldest International Film Festival in North America! 

This accolade is just the latest in a slew of awards and nominations for "Inside of Me", which is produced by Blue Angel Entertainment, LLC.

Robert X. Golphin has been tapped to serve as a Keynote Speaker at the B.E.F.Y. Education and Networking Symposium in Wilson, North Carolina.

‘Lunch, Listen and Learn with Actor/Filmmaker Robert X. Golphin’, a luncheon, will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, April 24^th, at Contending For The Faith Church Ministries. 1006 Academy St., Wilson, NC, 27893.

The 3 day conference takes place Thursday, April 22-Saturday, April 24, 2010. An acronym for 'Black, Educated, Focused and Young', B.E.F.Y. is a movement that ‘encourages the pursuit of higher education’, and is ‘designed to act as a deterrent and counter to the drug and gang culture infesting the black community’.

Robert is expected to inspire and motivate both the young and mature through his powerful words, and joins a list of several accomplished educators, artists, philanthropists and entrepreneurs that will populate the conference.

Robert was featured in the Denzel Washington film, “The Great Debaters”. He is also the author of the novel “Abandoning Adam: Confessions of an HBCU Scholar”, available through thousands of retailers nationwide.

One might consider award-winner, Robert X. Golphin as the king of short films. One more will soon be added to his list.

"Punch Me", the followup to his successful "Inside of Me" is in production now.

In "Punch Me", Robert stars alongside industry vet, Brian Anthony Wilson, who recurred on the entire run of the hit HBO series, "The Wire". Also featured is newcomer, Elwood Simon.

The film is executive produced by award-winner, Lori M. Childress and her banner, Blue Angel Entertainment, LLC.

Blue Angel Entertainment, LLC is proud and happy to announce that "Inside of Me", directed by Robert X. Golphin and executive produced by Lori M. Childress, is now the WINNER of two Accolade Awards of Merit for Short Film & Direction.

The awards go to those filmmakers who produce fresh, standout entertainment. The Accolade is an international awards competition in its fifth year, and is considered a top tier competition. It honors professionals, established and emerging, who demonstrate exceptional achievement in craft and creativity.

The competition Chairperson says: "The Accolade is not an easy award to win. The judges were pleased with the exceptionally high quality of the entries. The goal of The Accolade is to help the winners of this coveted award achieve the recognition and distribution they deserve."

"Inside of Me" is also the winner of 'Best Narrative Short (Honorable Mention)' at the LA Reel Film Fest, and was nominated for Best Actress at the same festival. The film is up for Best Short Drama at next week's Trail Dance Film Fest in Oklahoma.

Robert X. Golphin's "Inside of Me", nominated for Best Short Drama, will have its Oklahoma premiere at the Trail Dance Film Festival on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 12:30 PM at the *CTHC Experience Theatre in Duncan.

The Academy, Critic's Choice, National Board of Review, SAG, Spirit and Globes awards aren't the only awards in season.

Also making news is Robert X. Golphin's new motion picture short, "Inside of Me".

The film has picked up an Honorable Mention at the 2009 Los Angeles Reel Film Festival. Also nominated for Best Actress was the film's star, Lauren Jane Krystofolski.

"Inside of Me" hit the festival circuit in November and is next slated to screen at the Trail Dance Film Festival in January 2010.
