MCCC Alumnus Zeiad Hussein to Hold Film Premiere in Philadelphia

Feb. 7, 2005, Philadelphia, Pa.—Montgomery County Community College communications alumnus Zeiad Hussein, of Pottstown, will hold the premier of his new short film “Track Marks” at the Prince Music Theater in Philadelphia on Feb. 12 at 6 p.m. Hussein served as the director and co-producer of the film.

“Track Marks” explores the physical, psychological, spiritual and emotional aspects of addiction. Throughout the film, viewers look at the choices and consequences of Markee, portrayed by Robert X. Golphin, and how those choices affect his overall life.

Hussein graduated from Montgomery County Community College in 2004 with an associate’s degree in communications. Hussein’s first short film “Vision” was screened publicly at the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival in April 2004. He also held the premier of his first feature-length film “Ghost of Gallager” at MCCC’s Central Campus in November 2004.
